Minus Zero: Winter Music Festival Experiential Marketing Case Study

The Minus Zero Challenge

ZAG was tasked with transforming a fledgling music festival hosted by the Minus Zero brand into a nationally recognized EDM (Electronic Dance Music) brand.  In order to achieve our goals of exposure with a well curated event, we worked with event promoters to develop and execute an engaging event site including overall event design, V.I.P. stages, hospitality area and artist lounges.

ZAG produced a clean, winter-themed design with consumer-connected, relevant activities that helped drive ticket sales and create an exciting atmosphere for festival-goers to enjoy leading EDM artists like Jaus, Deadmau5 and Kaskade.

Event Results

  • V.I.P. areas were sold out and created huge buzz among attendees
  • Festival attendance exceeded first year expectations
  • Festival was well-received by attendees, local authorities and the media alike
  • Year two of the festival with expanded site plan is currently in development
